At BuyVahan.com, we strive to provide a seamless experience for our users. However, because our services are digital and intangible (advertising space, premium listings, and data access), our cancellation and refund policies differ from physical e-commerce stores.
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any listing package or premium feature.
1. General Policy
1.1 Digital Nature of Services All services provided by BuyVahan.com (including but not limited to Vehicle Listings, "Bump Up" features, Featured Ads, and Dealer Subscriptions) are considered consumed immediately upon activation. Therefore, all fees paid are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy.
1.2 No Refund for "Sold" Vehicles If you sell your vehicle before your listing package expires, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining duration of the ad.
2. Listing Fees & Premium Features
2.1 Cancellation by User

Before Activation: If you cancel a listing request before it goes live on the site (e.g., while it is under review), you are eligible for a 100% refund.

After Activation: Once a listing is live and visible to the public, no refunds will be issued if you choose to delete, cancel, or hide the ad.
2.2 Cancellation by BuyVahan.com

Policy Violations: If your listing is removed by our moderation team for violating our [Terms and Conditions] or [Listing Policy] (e.g., posting fake cars, scam listings, duplicate ads, or offensive content), no refund will be issued.

Technical Error: If we are unable to publish your listing due to a technical failure on our end, a full refund will be processed.
3. Dealer Subscriptions (Recurring Billing)

Cancellation: Dealers on a monthly or annual subscription plan may cancel their subscription at any time via their account dashboard.

Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to your dealer features until the cycle ends.

No Pro-Rata Refunds: We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days in a partial month. For example, if you cancel on the 10th of the month, you will not receive a refund for the remaining 20 days.
4. Buyer-Seller Token Amounts (Crucial Disclaimer)
BuyVahan.com is an intermediary only.

We are not responsible for refunds regarding "Token Money," "Booking Amounts," or "Security Deposits" exchanged directly between a Buyer and a Seller.

Any dispute regarding the refund of a token amount paid for a vehicle must be settled directly between the Buyer and the Seller. BuyVahan.com cannot intervene or process refunds for these private transactions.
5. Refund Eligibility for Technical Issues
You are eligible for a full refund if:

Double Charge: Your card/account was charged twice for a single transaction.

Service Failure: You paid for a "Premium Feature" (like a homepage spotlight), but due to a technical glitch, the feature was never applied to your listing.
6. Refund Process

How to Request: To request a refund, please contact us at hello@buyvahan.com with your Transaction ID and the reason for the request.

Timeline: Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days.

Method: Refunds will always be credited back to the original source of payment (Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking). We cannot transfer refunds to third-party accounts or pay in cash.
7. Changes to this Policy
BuyVahan.com reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
